Do I really need to use #Chrome #Browser instead of #Firefox to have multi language spell check? I hate to switch if between languages all the time.

I think you need an extension to detect which language you are typing. Or you could hack together your own multi language dictionary by merging any number of language dictionaries together
depending on your set up, something like this would work https://superuser.com/a/878884
@Matthias/E if it works, yes. Chrome can do this out of the box. Is there anything like this for Thunderbird?

No. You don't. Click below with your Firefox and add a language:

@V. T. Eric Layton I already did that some time ago, now the spell check is always only one language, the one used last, all other words are red underlined.
Ah... well, sorry about that. Maybe you should search over at Mozilla's site. Their documentation is excellent.
Clicking right on the marked text and picking another language is still better than being spied on. Just sayin'
Fully agree with Thanatos.
@AverageMax I would like to have neither and it is stupid that the feature is not there.
+1 want this feature as well
