Eines vorweg, ich finde es gut das die Individuen die das #Kapitol gestürmt haben jetzt verhaftet werden.
Aber ich denke hin und wieder die sind auch nur Opfer von #Trump und anderen #Rechten, sie wurden belogen und haben aus dem Lügen fatale Schlüsse gezogen und darauf basierend haben sie gehandelt.
Ich finde es spannend, wie in einer Welt, in der man den Zugang zu allen Informationen in der Hosentasche trägt, so dumm handeln kann.
Aber ich denke hin und wieder die sind auch nur Opfer von #Trump und anderen #Rechten, sie wurden belogen und haben aus dem Lügen fatale Schlüsse gezogen und darauf basierend haben sie gehandelt.

Honestly the people gloating about the #signal outage piss me off so much.
We have a chance right now to assemble the critical mass and overcome the network effect. Moving the majority of people to privacy respecting communications. And the xmpp fanboys have nothing better to do than *literally* toot "I told you so".

The decentralisation folks are even more baffling because, for all the benefits that it brings, reliability is not its selling point. Get all your friends to switch to Matrix, then see what happens when Matrix.org goes down.
(But if we do successfully get everyone to switch to Matrix, I'd be very happy and would wish for all Matrix servers to keep happily chugging along.)

Es ist nicht verwunderlich bei den Millionen Neuanmeldungen. Die müssen doch erst ihre Serverkapazitäten erweitern, damit es weiterhin für alle wieder stabil läuft. War auch jahrelang ein Nische-Messenger. Abwarten und Tee trinken und sich freuen auf neue Kontakte bei Signal 😀

Frage zur #Corona #Impfung, muss zwischen der Impfung und einer Impfung gegen #Gürtelrose ein zeitlicher Abstand von mehr als einigen Tagen liegen?
@minino nein drängen nicht, aber Gürtelrose 1 war schon, 2 kommt irgendwann im Feb. und nun ist einfach die Frage, was tun mit dem Covid Impftermin, notfalls Gürtelrose ausfallen lassen und nach ein paar Wochen eben nochmal neu anfangen? Paar Tage Abstand?
Naja, wenn du dringend Corona impfen willst, würd ich Impftermin für Covid nehmen wies kommt, da kannst du wahrscheinlich nicht gross wählen, und Gürtelrose dazwischen oder vorher/nachher. Schaden wirds nicht weils zu nah aufeinander ist, der Antikörper-Titer könnte etwas schlechter sein.

Ich hatte mich vor ein paar Wochen bei #signal angemeldet. Als Dritt-Messenger neben #element und #threema. Anfangs hatte ich kaum Kontakte gefunden. Aber seit WA seinen Datenaustausch mit FB bekannt gegeben hat, gehts richtig rund. Mehrmals täglich poppen Nachrichten hoch, dass ein neuer Kontakt jetzt auch bei Signal ist. Es scheinen sich doch mehr Leute für die Probleme bei WA zu interessieren. #deletefacebook #deletewhatsapp
